Indonesian General Election

Today, April 9th 2014, we held a general election here to elect the senators for the house of representative. This kind of holiday since offices and schools were closed, only hospital run to serve the patients.

On the way to the election site, I could barely see any car, not like usual.

When I arrived to the place, the villagers are waiting in line, not really in line as they were just sitting, talking and of course smoking.

The election site was arranged at the “meunasah”, a small place that our villager use to pray, held a meeting and any other activities like this general election.

In every general election, we have a motto “LUBER”, which is an abbreviation fo Langsung (Direct), Umum (General), Bebas (Free), and Rahasia (Secret).

Thats all the story of this day.

Wish we have good leaders.
